The role
We are looking for a native Italian-speaking Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in the European Union to support outbound sales activity within the Italian market.
This role requires much more than strong communication skills. Organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently manage complex data are critical to success.
You will manage prospect information, sales activities, follow-ups, and multiple opportunities while conducting professional outbound outreach to Italian-speaking prospects.
The role may involve campaigns within the medical and healthcare sector, including engagement with clinics, hospitals, healthcare organisations, and relevant decision-makers. Previous experience selling medical products or into healthcare is therefore highly desirable, although not essential.
What you'll do
- Conduct proactive outbound prospecting into the Italian market through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other sales channels.
- Research target accounts and identify relevant decision-makers.
- Engage prospects in consultative conversations to understand business needs and identify potential opportunities.
- Qualify prospects and generate high-quality sales opportunities.
- Manage large amounts of prospect and campaign data accurately and systematically.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date CRM records.
- Manage multiple prospects, conversations, tasks, and follow-ups simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
- Schedule qualified meetings and ensure clear handovers of opportunities.
- Work with structured sales processes, qualification frameworks, and campaign reporting.
- Collaborate professionally in English with an international team.
- Where relevant, engage healthcare stakeholders including clinics, hospitals, medical professionals, procurement teams, and operational decision-makers.
