F&B Trainee

What do we need from you?

- These are paid internships (€600 gross/month) full-time in rotating shifts (morning and afternoon) according to hotel operations.
- An indispensable requirement is that we can sign a collaboration agreement with your school/study center. Unfortunately, we cannot consider candidates who do not meet this requirement.
- You must have a passion for hospitality and tourism: we value having previous experience in food and beverage customer service in a hotel or similar.
- English is a very important point for us, so these internships require speaking English fluently/at an advanced level.
- You must have attention to detail, be a proactive person, and be used to action. Working in a team is fundamental for us.

We are looking for an intern for the F&B area at our Hyatt Centric Gran Vía Madrid Hotel. If you feel passion for catering, service, and teamwork, this is the place for you!

We are looking for dynamic professionals with good communication and organizational skills, who want to be part of a unique project, offer the customer a quality service experience, and contribute to the operational objectives of team development and the quality of the Centric brand.

What will your functions be while doing your internship with us?

- You will participate in dining room service: serving orders and cleaning tables and spaces.
- You will deal directly with the guest or customer in the different gastronomic spaces of the hotel, in relation to food and beverage consumption.
- You will coordinate with the rest of the food and beverage and kitchen team for the smooth running of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.
- You will provide support in managing bill payments, ensuring the correct collection of consumption and managing cash entries.
- You will prepare hot drinks (coffee and/or tea) and manage them directly with the guest. You will also make off-menu recommendations and appropriate suggestions.
- You will manage stock inventories, ensuring the correct use of the different food and beverages.
