About the role

Reporting directly to the Short Term Planning Manager for Airframe Services, the main function will be to plan maintenance tasks according to production constraints, and based on approved existing data, and to manage scheduling changes as required according to maintenance needs, coordinating with the different production and support departments, to ensure the minimum TAT possible, at the lowest cost and with the corresponding quality.

What you'll do

• Provide a detailed initial plan and manage its changes.
• Be drivers of change in the Short Term Planning department for Heavy Maintenance.
• Improve the current management of heavy maintenance downtimes.

• Plan according to the Production Managers, the Operations sequence, to efficiently carry out the tasks included in a Base Maintenance check in Airframe Services Heavy Maintenance.
• Implement standard work in the Short Term Planning area in Airframe Services Heavy Maintenance.
• Ensure the availability of Work Instructions, Tooling, and Materials for each of the scheduled maintenance actions in the different Work Packages requested by the Customer or the different findings that arise as a consequence.
• Act as a liaison between the Long Term Planning of Airframe Heavy Maintenance in charge of Slot management, and the Operations area in charge of their execution.
• Ensure the implementation of the LEAN philosophy and problem-solving methods at the different levels of the Heavy Maintenance Short Term Planning Area.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in those cases where a discrepancy is reported that could imply a regulatory non-compliance with EASA 145.
• Participate in the definition of the Continuous Improvement Action Plans for the Heavy Maintenance Short Term Planning area.
• Propose innovative solutions to automate work planning for the checks performed in the Heavy Maintenance Planning Area.
• Maximize added value for the Customer of the functions performed by the Heavy Maintenance Short Term Planning Services Area.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Aerospace.
• Experience in engineering and/or production. Preferably in aircraft maintenance.
• General knowledge. Aeronautical Maintenance preferably in a Base Maintenance or Heavy Maintenance environment.
• Other: (Languages, etc...): High level of English, minimum level B2 or 785 TOEIC.
