About the role

Purpose of the position

Strengthen the Line Maintenance Production Support team to ensure continuity of the 24/7 operation, facilitate the proper preparation and execution of maintenance tasks, and coordinate the resolution of incidents that may affect return to service, punctuality, and aircraft availability. 

The position will serve as a connection point between Production, Planning, CAMO, MCC, Logistics, Tooling, Engineering, and suppliers, ensuring that tasks have the resources, information, and conditions necessary for their execution. 

Position Mission

The selected person will be responsible for providing technical-operational support to Production, anticipating risks, coordinating incidents, and ensuring the proper preparation and follow-up of work packages. 

Their activity will be focused on protecting compliance with the maintenance plan, the RTS of the aircraft, and the main operational indicators of Line Maintenance. 

What you'll do

Job duties

  • Monitoring of the line maintenance operation and of scheduled work packages. 

  • Coordination of incidents related to personnel, material, tooling, facilities, auxiliary means, and suppliers. 

  • Review and acceptance of work packages in accordance with available capacity. 

  • Validation of man-hours, TAT, skills, materials, tools, facilities, and technical information. 

  • Identification of incompatibilities, interferences, dependencies, and risks between tasks. 

  • Support in task sequencing, critical path, and definition of operational milestones. 

  • Follow-up of unscheduled work, findings, deferrals, unassignments, and planning changes. 

  • Coordination of changes in aircraft registration, parking, slot, maintenance window, or package scope. 

  • Validation of NB and WB packages before their delivery to Production. 

  • Preparation and improvement of the handover between shifts, ensuring traceability of risks and pending actions. 

  • Quality control of the information entered in AMOS and of work instructions. 

  • Management of Production feedback on Instructions 145 and proposal of corrective actions. 

  • Recording, follow-up, and analysis of operational incidents. 

  • Participation in root cause analysis, lessons learned, and improvement actions. 

  • Support for the development of procedures, operational tools, dashboards, and automations. 

  • Collaboration in training activities and knowledge transfer. 

 Position responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Line Maintenance procedures. 

  • Prioritize actions based on operational impact and risk to the RTS. 

  • Escalate early any deviations that may affect punctuality or availability. 

  • Maintain clear, precise, and traceable communication with all involved areas. 

  • Properly document incidents, decisions, and pending actions. 

  • Verify resource availability before accepting work. 

  • Comply with safety, quality, human factors, and Part 145 regulatory procedures. 

  • Promote continuous improvement and prevention of recurrences. 

  • Properly use and care for the tools and means provided. 

Education & certifications

 Education

  • Aeronautical or professional technical training in fields related to maintenance, mechanical manufacturing, electrical, electronics, or similar. 

  • Aircraft maintenance license or equivalent training will be valued. 

Languages

  • Intermediate technical English.

  • Experience in coordinating material, tooling, skills, and resources desirable. 

  • Experience in AOG management, planning, Production support, or operational control will be valued. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, etc.).
