About the role

Purpose of the Position

Sizing of the final verification area in the engine workshop, according to the increase in workload in the repair area.

  • Ensure compliance with repair turnaround times (TAT) for parts involving repairs or processing in the structures section

  • Performance of intermediate and final visual/dimensional inspections.

Position Mission and Responsibilities

In the final verification section, TMAs perform intermediate or final inspections of engine parts or modules that are processed in the engine workshop repair area.

Given that the activity in the repair area is highly varied with different technologies and processes, consequently, the same applies to the final verification section. All types of repairs are verified in the same area, which provides TMAs working there with very broad knowledge.

What you'll do

  • Performance of general visual inspection, both on the bench and directly on the engines

  • Detailed visual inspection

  • Dimensional inspections using manual tools

  • Automated dimensional inspection using CMM

  • Measurement of defects using replication

  • Engraving/identification of parts using mechanical or electrochemical methods

  • Strict adherence to repair instructions and processes
