Requirements

What we're looking for

BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, Language Technologies, or related fields.
Professional proficiency in English is essential, as you will be responsible for drafting technical deliverables and engaging in high-level discussions within international consortiums.
Strong background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.Experience designing and developing LLM-based applications and agentic workflows.
Proficiency in Python and core AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, HuggingFace Transformers).
Familiarity with agentic and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).
Hands-on experience with Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding assistants for development and research workflows.

At IDENER.AI, we are looking for a Researcher specialized in Generative AI and Agentic Systems to join our multidisciplinary R&D team.

This role is designed for a professional eager to explore the frontier of LLMs, autonomous agents, and AI-driven reasoning systems, contributing to cutting-edge European research projects and industrial applications.

You will work at the intersection of Generative AI, NLP, and intelligent agents, helping us design next-generation AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and interacting autonomously in complex environments.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and deploy agentic AI systems and multi-agent architectures leveraging commercial LLM APIs and open-source models, for complex problem-solving, decision-making, research automation, and productivity enhancement.
Apply Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for tasks such as information extraction, semantic reasoning, and dialogue systems.
Conduct state-of-the-art research in areas like prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), MCPs (Model Context Protocol), agentic tool usage, autonomous agents and OS LLMs fine-tuning.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (data scientists, engineers, domain experts) to translate research into real-world applications.
Prepare technical reports, scientific publications, and deliverables for international R&D projects (e.g., Horizon Europe).
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic frameworks, contributing proactively with new ideas and proposals.
Participate in the preparation and writing of EU-funded research proposals (e.g., Horizon Europe), including the definition of technical work packages, pilot use cases, and consortium contributions.
