What we're looking for

Target experience of 5 or more years in software, data, or ML, with a recent track record in applied AI and LLM solutions brought to production. Advanced knowledge in software engineering with Python, of which at least 3 years building systems with LLM in production.
Practical mastery of Python, APIs, testing, and service design; experience implementing RAG and flows with agents or tool use (FastAPI, Pydantic and structured outputs, typing, and testing). Real experience with at least one agent framework (LangGraph or equivalent).
Ability to evaluate quality and regressions and resolve problems regarding latency, cost, reliability, and security (golden sets, LLM-as-a-judge, grounding and hallucination metrics, and quality gates in CI/CD).
Experience with at least one model provider or environment, cloud deployment, containers, and observability (Azure AI Foundry/Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock (AgentCore), or Google Vertex AI, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, OpenTelemetry, Langfuse, or LangSmith).
LLM application security: OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, guardrails, red teaming, and identity and secret management for agents.
Fluent Spanish and professional English for documentation and technical collaboration.
Depth in an environment and the judgment to compare alternatives are required. Practical knowledge of AI governance and the ability to collaborate with privacy, security, and compliance managers will be valued.

The role

At Grupo Tecdata, we continue to boost our AI team and are looking to hire a Senior AI Engineer - Generative AI and Agents with an interest in generative artificial intelligence, language models, and the development of intelligent agents.

What you'll do

Design and implement applications with LLM, RAG, and agents; select models and components based on quality, cost, latency, and client constraints.
Integrate APIs, documentary sources, and business systems; define orchestration, state management, permissions, and human oversight.
Coordinate with Data regarding the quality, updating, and authorization of sources, and build production-ready services and integrations.
Define evaluation sets and acceptance criteria for responses, retrieval, and agent actions; compare alternatives and detect regressions.
Implement observability, versioning, CI/CD, cost control, and recovery or controlled degradation mechanisms.
Design controls against prompt injection, data exposure, and unauthorized actions; apply corporate policy and project compliance requirements.
Provide technical guidance for assigned projects, estimate and decompose work, review code, and mentor junior profiles.
Support the AI Lead in workshops, proposals, and PoCs, defining the conditions for their transition to production.
Create reusable components and contribute to Tecdria, to the Laboratory, and to AI use cases for IT operations or SecuenceIQ depending on the portfolio.
