What we're looking for

To thrive in this team, you will need:

Essential Degree & Master's in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Electronics Engineering (or related areas).
Experience in application development in Linux environments.
Proficiency in C++ programming and a sensitivity toward performance and efficient resource usage.
Knowledge of AI (models, training and inference frameworks, deployment on devices).
Eagerness to learn, autonomy, and the ability to work in a team.
Sufficient level of English to work with technical documentation and communicate in international environments.

The role

We are looking for someone who wants to make AI fit into a device... and actually work!!

You will be part of the Intelligence of Things team, specialized in bringing artificial intelligence to edge devices. Edge devices are systems that process data right where it is generated, in the product itself or in the machine, with limited computing, memory, and energy resources. In the team, we research and develop the techniques that allow AI models to run on these devices, from model optimization and partitioning to their deployment and evaluation on real hardware, and we work so that more and more intelligence, including generative AI, can be integrated and run directly at the edge.

What will we offer you?

What you'll do

Develop and integrate applications in C++ on Linux systems, with a focus on edge and resource-constrained platforms.
Optimize software and AI models, including generative AI, so that they run efficiently on these devices.
Adapt, deploy, and validate AI models on edge hardware.
Participate in projects with industrial clients, from development to the transfer of results.
Participate in the preparation of research proposals and in national and European research projects.
Document technical work and contribute to deliverables, demonstrators and, where appropriate, publications.

How you'll work

Possibility of working 2 days from the Bilbao headquarters, up to two days of teleworking, and one day of the week, team day, in Mondragón.
