Requirements

What we're looking for

Education: Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) in food industry processes and quality or higher degree in analysis laboratory and Quality Control. Agricultural technical engineer, Biologist, or Food Science and Technology and/or similar.
Knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and Office suite at a user level
Bilingual Spanish, English is valuable
Communication skills, problem-solving, teamwork, and methodology.
2 years of previous experience (experience in the agri-food sector is highly valued)

The role

At Iman Temporing El Prat, we are looking for a Quality Technician for a company located in Mercabarna, in the Zona Franca of Barcelona, belonging to the import, export, and wholesale distribution sector of fresh fruits and vegetables..

What you'll do

Inspect fruit and vegetable products during reception in the packaging area following defined quality instructions and guaranteeing food safety.
Record the inspection carried out according to the implemented internal protocol.
Inspect the product at the time of dispatch when required.
Review labels according to customer specifications and prepare labels when necessary, ensuring compliance with current labeling legislation.
Perform the controls indicated by the company's Quality Management System during packaging: traceability, weight control, Good Handling Practices, etc.
Communicate and enter into the system any non-conformities detected during product Quality control.

How you'll work

Initial incorporation through an ETT (temporary employment agency), with the possibility of subsequently becoming part of the permanent staff.
Schedule: Fixed morning shift (7:00 to 15:00 h) or monthly rotating shift (7:00 to 15:00 h and 12:30 to 20:30 h).
