Requirements

The role

From our office in Barcelona, we are looking for a Route Planner for an important company located in the city center.

We are looking for a person with a practical vision, initiative, and a passion for logistics, who enjoys planning routes, working with maps, and coordinating teams so that everything functions with precision and efficiency.

What you'll do

You will be a key figure in ensuring that our drivers arrive on time, traveling fewer kilometers and generating a greater positive impact on each route.
You will analyze maps, travel times, and logistical data to optimize routes and reduce empty runs, improving service efficiency.
Coordination with drivers during the working day to resolve incidents in real time and ensure that each delivery is carried out as planned.
You will maintain direct communication with customers, either by telephone or email, to confirm visits, schedules, and specific needs.
You will record all information in our planning system (ERP), guaranteeing precise and up-to-date tracking of operations.
Negotiation with customers for the expansion to larger capacity drums or tanks, contributing to a more efficient and sustainable service.
