✅ Demonstrable experience of 5-10 years in tactical or mission-critical communications systems.
✅ Solid knowledge of radio communications, network protocols, and embedded systems architecture.
✅ Experience in developing network protocols and distributed architectures (MANET, routing, QoS).
✅ Experience in software integration on embedded platforms or distributed systems.
✅ Knowledge of channel modeling and radio links at a conceptual level.
✅ Experience with complex software lifecycles (DO-178, ISO/IEC 12207, or other equivalent frameworks).

• C / C++ (advanced level).

In our position as a leading company in the defense sector, we are looking to hire a Senior RF & Tactical Networks Engineer to participate in the SIAGEN CTN project, contributing to the design, development, and integration of advanced communications systems embedded in demanding operational environments.

You will join the SIAGEN CTN Project, a strategic initiative in the defense sector focused on developing advanced tactical communications capabilities, mobile networks, and embedded radio links, key to ensuring interoperability and effectiveness in real operational environments.

You will work on a project with high technical demands, with direct impact on critical operational capabilities.

• Design, develop, and integrate embedded tactical radio links for mission-critical systems.
• Implement and evolve the tactical waveform layer, ensuring interoperability, robustness, and performance.
• Develop network protocols and architectures: routing, controlled flooding, MANET, and QoS mechanisms.
• Participate in software integration on embedded platforms and distributed systems.
• Collaborate on conceptual modeling of channels and radio links (unclassified).
• Validate and verify solutions developed within complex software lifecycles.
• Work in a coordinated manner with other engineering teams to ensure overall system coherence.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in project technical reviews.
