IS IT YOU? We are looking for someone who...

Has completed a Vocational Training (FP) in ASIR or similar.
Has a great desire to learn.
Does not get scared when seeing a black screen full of text (we promise it ends up being cool).
Enjoys solving small challenges.
Knows how to work in a team.
Can commute in person to our offices in Ciudad Lineal (Madrid).
Has availability to work in 24/7 shifts (availability for morning, afternoon, and night).

The first three months will be your "training mode": you will learn side-by-side with the team, 100% on-site and in the morning shift. Once you have the controls, you will move to the service, which currently combines 50% on-site presence (also in the morning shift).

The role

LEVEL 1: JUNIOR MAINFRAME OPERATOR!

No, Mainframe is not a video game... although it has missions, screens full of commands, and you can become the protagonist.

What you'll do

YOUR FIRST MISSION (Your powers will be unlocked little by little)

Monitor Batch processes to ensure they follow their path without getting lost.
Detect alerts before they become a problem.
Relaunch Jobs, release conditions, locate chains, and check that everything returns to normal.
Speak with technical teams and clients when the situation requires it.
Manage incidents and emails, and perform follow-ups until everything is resolved.

Technologies

You will work with technologies such as:

Windows, Linux, and z/OS.
SQL, Oracle, and DB2.
Control-M, OPC, and Batch schedulers.
Remedy, ServiceNow, and Máximo.
Netcool, Omnibus, and Focal MF.
