The role

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking for a Technical Solutions Engineer to join the Pre-Design Department team of the Traction Systems Business Unit in Zamudio.

Mission: Develop the optimal technical-economic solutions demanded by the market, following the instructions of the area manager and applicable procedures, to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

What you'll do

Among its main challenges, the work related to the following stands out:

Analyze the technical requirements of new opportunities.
Select the initial topology together with the area manager.
Develop technical pre-designs in all their aspects (electrical, mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, control, communication...) for specific customer requests, with the aim of making them technically and economically competitive.
Supervise and guide the mechanical design of the offer product.
Technically define external components and liaise with suppliers on technical matters.
Meet the pre-design planning established with the Key Account Manager (KAM).
Prepare the final document with the technical offer.
Perform economic calculations of technical solutions (Recurring Costs) and associated developments for the product (NRC).
Identify technical risks in pre-designs.
Develop and maintain assigned pre-design tools.
Understand and collaborate with other areas of the technical department for the preparation of pre-designs (definition of filters, routes, RAMS/LCC,...)

Requirements

Higher engineering degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical engineering or similar.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar positions.
Minimum English level B2
Knowledge of: Power Electronics and MS Office.
The position requires a proactive person, with the ability to work in a team, flexibility, communication skills, a high capacity for learning, and problem-solving.
