The role

We are looking for a Tender Engineer with experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects to join our technical team in Madrid.
The selected candidate will participate in the tender phase and preparation of technical and commercial proposals, working closely with the engineering, procurement, and construction departments.

The ideal profile will have experience in plant layout, electrical groupings, civil works, and technical analysis of RFQs for energy infrastructure projects (especially renewables, PV plants, or substations).

What you'll do

Preliminary layout and design of solar plants and other energy infrastructures.
Definition and design of electrical groupings for medium and high voltage.
Estimation and calculation of associated civil works for the project (ducts, foundations, access roads, etc.).
Detailed analysis of RFQs (Request for Quotation) and received technical documentation.
Preparation and review of BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for technical and commercial proposals.
Coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to define optimal solutions.
Support in the preparation of technical presentations and proposal documentation for clients.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical proposals for EPC projects (preferably in the energy sector).

Technical knowledge in plant design, electrical groupings, and basic civil works.

Advanced proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Excel, and electrical or civil design software.

Strong technical analysis, organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Upper-intermediate to advanced level of English (technical documentation and international proposals).

Will be valued

Previous experience in photovoltaic solar plants, substations, or electrical transmission lines.
Knowledge of specific software (PVsyst, Civil 3D, PLS-CADD, etc.).
International experience or experience in multicultural environments.
Familiarity with public or private tender processes.
