Bidding Engineer

• Education and Experience:
  • Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
  • Previous experience in bid departments, studies, or energy project engineering.
  • Knowledge of photovoltaic and/or conventional generation projects.
  • Experience in technical-economic analysis of energy solutions.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and contractual documentation.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of renewable energies and electric generation technologies.
  • Experience in the preparation of technical-economic bids.
  • Knowledge of mass and energy balances, applied thermodynamics, and generation systems.
  • Experience in performance studies, simulations, and performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of EPC contracts and tendering processes associated with energy projects.
  • B2 English level or higher.
• Personal competencies:
  • High analytical capacity and technical orientation.

  • Experience in hybridization of renewable plants and green hydrogen.
  • Knowledge of substations and electrical evacuation systems.
  • Experience in generation technologies such as combined cycles, concentrated solar power, cogeneration, biomass, geothermal, or Waste to Energy.
  • Proficiency in calculation, simulation, and design tools applied to the energy sector.
  • Experience in the preparation of economic estimates, CAPEX analysis, and development of complex bids.
  • High level of English for communication with clients, suppliers, and international teams.

Job Offer: Bid Engineer - Energy

At Grupo INVOIN, we are looking for an Energy Bid Engineer to join a flagship project within the energy sector. We are looking for professionals with experience in the preparation of technical-economic bids for energy generation projects, participating in tender analysis, definition of technical solutions, and development of proposals for national and international EPC projects.

• Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and client requirements.
• Develop technical and economic bids for energy generation projects.
• Define design criteria and guaranteed performance of the facilities.
• Perform preliminary calculations, energy balances, and technical feasibility studies.
• Size main and auxiliary equipment at a conceptual level.
• Prepare requests for quotation and coordinate technically with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Compare equipment and systems technically and economically.
• Prepare technical bid documentation, including reports, data sheets, technical specifications, design criteria, and performance calculations.
• Coordinate the various disciplines involved in the project: processes, electrical, mechanical, civil, instrumentation, and procurement.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients for the presentation and defense of solutions.
• Identify technical risks and optimize proposals to maximize the competitiveness and efficiency of the bids.
