The role

At Intertek Iberica, we are looking for a Quality Manager to join our team at a photovoltaic plant in Teruel. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards during the construction, commissioning, and operation phases of the facility, ensuring that all processes, materials, and completed works meet technical, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

What you'll do

The main functions include:

Implement, supervise, and maintain the project's Quality Plan.
Coordinate quality control and inspection activities on site.
Verify compliance with applicable technical specifications, procedures, and regulations.
Manage internal and external quality-related audits.
Supervise quality documentation, inspection reports, tests, and records.
Coordinate the management of non-conformities, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
Collaborate with the engineering, construction, HSE, and operations departments to ensure continuous improvement of processes.
Monitor suppliers and contractors regarding quality matters.
Prepare periodic reports and report on performance indicators.

Requirements

University degree in Engineering, Technical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality roles within renewable energy projects, industrial construction, or the electrical sector.

Knowledge of quality management systems based on ISO 9001.

Experience in quality control of photovoltaic installations, substations, or electrical lines (positively valued).

Knowledge of technical regulations and standards applicable to the energy sector.

Proficiency in office tools and document management software.

Organizational, analytical, and incident resolution skills.

Communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.

Availability to work at a photovoltaic plant and carry out field inspection visits.

Technical English proficiency valued.
