Telecommunications Engineer - Radiofrequency and Microwave

• Education and Experience:
  • Degree or Master's in Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in positions related to the design and development of radio frequency and microwave systems.
  • Experience in high-level and low-level design of satellite communications subsystems, working with frequencies up to 50 GHz.
  • Experience in the design of RF components and subsystems, such as frequency converters, power amplifiers, oscillators, and low-noise amplifiers.
  • Experience in testing and validation of RF equipment in microwave laboratory environments.
• Skills and Technical Knowledge:
  • Solid knowledge of radio frequency and microwave, applied to the development of communications equipment and subsystems.
  • Knowledge of electronic design at the PCB level.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design of electronic equipment.
  • Experience in RF and microwave laboratory instrumentation, including:
    • Spectrum analyzers.
    • Signal generators.
    • Power meters.
    • Network analyzers.
    • Noise figure meters.
    • Oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to develop engineering, project, and manufacturing technical documentation.
  • High level of English, both spoken and written, for the interpretation and preparation of technical documentation and professional communication.

• Especially valued:
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation applied to the design and analysis of RF and microwave systems.
  • Knowledge of thermal simulation of electronic equipment.

At Grupo INVOIN, we are looking to hire a Telecommunications Engineer to participate in an important technological project within the satellite communications (SATCOM) and electronic warfare (EW) systems sectors, oriented towards professional and defense applications.

We are looking for a professional specialized in the design and development of radio frequency (RF) and microwave equipment, with experience in satellite communications subsystems, electronic design, and equipment validation. You will participate in technological projects destined for different land, naval, and aeronautical platforms, collaborating in the various engineering, manufacturing, and testing phases.

• Design and develop radio frequency and microwave equipment destined for satellite communications (SATCOM) and electronic warfare (EW) systems.
• Perform high-level and low-level design of satellite communications subsystems, working with frequencies up to 50 GHz.
• Design and develop RF subsystems, including frequency converters, power amplifiers, oscillators, and low-noise amplifiers (LNA), among other components.
• Participate in the electronic design of PCB boards and in the integration of the different equipment components.
• Collaborate in the mechanical design of electronic equipment, considering the integration and operation requirements of the systems.
• Perform tests, measurements, and validations in the microwave laboratory, verifying the behavior and performance of the developed equipment.
• Use specialized RF and microwave instrumentation, such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, noise figure meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Analyze test results, identify possible deviations, and collaborate in the resolution of technical incidents.
• Participate in electromagnetic and thermal simulation and analysis activities of the equipment, depending on the project needs.
• Prepare and review technical project and manufacturing documentation, including specifications, design reports, procedures, and test results.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams during the design, development, integration, and validation phases of the systems.
