What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) or Wholesale Banking environments.
Deep and demonstrable knowledge of the corporate and investment banking business.
Relevant experience in Global Markets (ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT). Candidates without experience in this area will not be considered.
Demonstrable experience in technological architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or technological transformation within CIB environments.
Experience defining reference architectures, target architectures, or transition models in complex environments.
Experience in application rationalization, platform consolidation, or technological modernization.
Ability to analyze current and future architectures, considering applications, data, integration, cloud, resilience, and cybersecurity.
Minimum English level B2, with C1 being highly valued. The ability to communicate, prepare and present recommendations, and participate in international meetings is required.

Important: The CV must clearly specify the CIB domains, business areas, products, and platforms the candidate has worked with, including their specific experience in Global Markets.

We are looking for professionals with a technical and strategic profile, capable of getting directly involved in architecture design, analyzing complex technological ecosystems, questioning existing models, and proposing concrete solutions.

We are not looking for profiles exclusively oriented towards governance, coordination, or workshop management: practical (hands-on) experience in architecture and technological transformation is essential.

Nice to have

Deep knowledge of a specific CIB domain or transversal platform.
Experience leading global or multi-domain transformation initiatives.
Experience evaluating technological solutions and Buy / Build / Reuse alternatives, including TCO analysis.
Experience working with large application portfolios and developing strategic recommendations.

Education & certifications

University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar disciplines. Postgraduate studies or an MBA in finance or technology management will be valued.

The role

🚀 We are looking for 2 Senior CIB Enterprise Architects – Architecture Transformation!

Do you have solid experience in Corporate & Investment Banking and want to participate in technological transformation projects within the financial sector?

We are looking to hire two Senior CIB Enterprise Architects to work on strategic architecture transformation initiatives, contributing to defining the technological evolution of a corporate and investment banking environment.

What you'll do

You will be part of enterprise architecture transformation initiatives, collaborating closely with technology leaders, business teams, and senior stakeholders to define target architectures and convert strategic decisions into concrete transformation plans.

Define reference architectures and target architectures for different CIB business capabilities.
Analyze and evaluate current application and platform ecosystems, identifying duplications, obsolescence, dependencies, and optimization opportunities.
Design technological transition strategies, platform consolidation, and application modernization.
Evaluate technological solutions and market alternatives (Buy / Build / Reuse), considering integration, costs, and benefits.
Participate in and lead architectural decision forums and multidisciplinary working groups.
Identify transformation opportunities and translate architectural decisions into concrete initiatives and investments.
Collaborate with global teams and high-level stakeholders to drive the evolution of the technological environment.

How you'll work

Location: Madrid or surrounding areas.
Hybrid modality, with in-person attendance at our offices several days per week.
The position is not 100% remote, so availability to attend the offices in person will be essential.
Availability to travel occasionally when necessary.
