Risk, Internal Control and Internal Audit Internship

At ITP Aero we are looking to add to our Risk, Internal Control and Internal Audit Department an intern to provide support in identifying, assessing and monitoring corporate risks, as well as in developing and maintaining the internal control system, business continuity activities and the planning and execution of internal audits.

• Support in the different phases of the corporate risk management cycle, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting.
• Collaboration in documenting, implementing, updating and reviewing internal controls.
• Participation in activities related to business continuity management and updating its documentation.
• Support in the planning and execution of internal audits, including gathering evidence and monitoring improvement actions.
• Preparation of reports, presentations and other supporting documentation for the department.

• To be eligible for the internship, it is necessary to have an agreement with an educational institution, i.e. it is necessary to hold student status in an official degree programme.
• Schedule: full-time schedule will be valued; if not possible, part-time schedule will be considered
• Internship period: preferably from September 2026 to June 2027
• Study grant. paid internship

• Education: Student in final years of Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar
• Required experience: No prior experience required; interest in risks, internal control or auditing will be valued
• Required knowledge:

- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint at a user level

- Interest in risk management methodologies (basic knowledge of COSO / ISO 31000, no mastery required)

- Analytical skills and ability to organize information

- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus (not mandatory)

• Languages: English C1
• Soft Skills:

- Proactivity and willingness to learn

- Attention to detail and structured thinking

- Good communication skills and ability to work with different areas

What training will you receive to carry out the work?

You will work alongside a strategic multidisciplinary team for the company, and you will be able to see firsthand how the risk, internal control and audit functions operate within an industrial group.

You will be trained in:

- Corporate risk management methodology (ERM) and its annual cycle

- COSO internal control framework and its practical application (SCIIF)

- Fundamentals of internal audit planning and execution

- Preparation of reporting, dashboards and presentations for management

You will provide services to ITP Aero from its Alcobendas headquarters, alongside professionals with extensive experience in the sector, in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components that ranks among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry.

You will work closely with the Risks, Internal Control and Audit team, with fluid communication with the different areas of the group (Finance, Operations, Compliance, HR, Procurement, among others).

You will work at ITP Aero's headquarters in Alcobendas (Madrid).
