Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Incentive Strategy, Design & Governance

  • Design, implement, maintain, and continuously enhance incentive compensation plans.

  • Define performance metrics, sales objectives, business rules, and governance frameworks.

  • Ensure alignment between company strategy, commercial priorities, and field force execution.

Incentive Performance Management

  • Monitor performance results, target achievement, and incentive payouts.

  • Assess incentive effectiveness and recommend adjustments to improve business outcomes and sales behaviors.

  • Conduct incentive simulations and scenario analyses.

Field Force Effectiveness (FFE) & Commercial Optimization

  • Lead sales force sizing, territory design, customer segmentation, resource allocation, and coverage optimization initiatives.

  • Develop data-driven recommendations to maximize commercial effectiveness and return on investment.

Business Analytics & Decision Support

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.

  • Provide ad hoc analyses and strategic insights to Commercial Leadership, Business Intelligence, and senior management.

  • Support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Strategic Planning & Forecasting

  • Contribute to forecasting, business planning, and strategic planning processes.

  • Evaluate commercial investment opportunities and support resource allocation decisions.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Commercial, Finance, Human Resources, Compliance, Commercial Excellence, and other business stakeholders.

  • Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for incentive compensation and field force effectiveness topics.

Data Quality, Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure the quality, integrity, consistency, and traceability of data used in incentive and FFE processes.

  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and governance requirements related to compensation and sales force management.

Process Excellence, Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive process standardization, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce administrative burden.

Knowledge Management & Documentation Governance

  • Own documentation management and information governance for incentive and FFE processes.

  • Ensure methodologies, policies, procedures, calculation rules, technical documentation, training materials, and supporting records are maintained, updated, accessible, and audit-ready.

  • Elaborate and orchestrate proper all document management of incentives communication and calculations.

Benchmarking & Best Practices

  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking of incentive models, sales force structures, and industry best practices.

  • Incorporate market insights and innovative approaches into program design and optimization.

REQUIREMENTS

Domain Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of incentive compensation models, sales force effectiveness, territory design, targeting and segmentation methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of commercial performance drivers, field force productivity metrics, forecasting processes, and business planning principles.

  • Ability to translate business strategy into measurable objectives, incentive frameworks, and resource allocation recommendations.

  • Stays up to date with industry trends, incentive design best practices, analytics methodologies, and pharmaceutical commercial excellence practices.

  • Experience applying quantitative and qualitative analysis, scenario modeling, and cost-benefit assessments to support business decisions.

  • Understanding of compliance, governance, and data quality requirements associated with incentive compensation and commercial operations.

  • Experience supporting organizational transformation initiatives, operating model changes, and continuous process improvement programs.

Business & Analytical Experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading incentive compensation and Field Force Effectiveness initiatives across multiple business units.

  • Strong analytical capability with experience developing dashboards, performance metrics, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.

  • Experience managing complex projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and balancing competing business priorities.

  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Experience driving automation, process simplification, and operational excellence initiatives.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Commercial, Finance, Human Resources, Compliance, Commercial Excellence, and senior leadership teams.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is

€43.600,00 - €70.150,00
