The role

Currently, at Kiabi we have a challenging and ambitious expansion project, so we are looking for KIABI TALENT: committed people, eager to contribute knowledge and experience, strategic vision and lots of enthusiasm. Do you have Kiabi talent?

As an Accountant, your main mission will be to perform the accounting for Iberia's work centers, in accordance with the principles of reliability, accuracy, and transparency set by the company, with the aim of complying with the current accounting and tax regulations in Portugal and Spain.

What you'll do

The main functions of the position are focused on supplier, customer accounting, and bank reconciliations.
Record the invoicing issued and received from your perimeter, ensuring the correct allocation, according to the General Accounting Plan, and respecting the analytical allocation established by the company, with the aim of ensuring the correct preparation of the Profit and Loss Account.
Perform the monthly management of the Profit and Loss Account of your perimeter, recording accounting entries and accruing expenses, to ensure the reliability and transparency of the account.
Prepare and transmit the monthly reports established to the assigned stores with the aim of keeping the stores informed at all times of their accounting status.
Perform the store financing process, controlling the correct allocation of figures, margin, bank charges, as well as their deposit into the bank account.
Review the order and quality of the accounting documents provided by KIABI employees to ensure compliance with validation standards.
Provide service and resolve accounting issues for the assigned stores with the aim of solving the problems that arise.
Perform bank reconciliations and control the cash of the assigned stores.
Properly and appropriately file accounting documents to comply with current and internal company regulations.
Support external and internal audits.
