A consolidated company in the industrial sector dedicated to the manufacture of paper and cardboard products and graphic solutions is recruiting a Senior Accounting Technician to reinforce its finance area.

We are looking for a person with a solid technical background in financial accounting, capable of taking on daily operations with autonomy, in an environment with high volume, a demand for control, and constant monitoring of information.

The position reports directly to the Finance Department and plays a key role in accounting management, collections control, and the reliability of financial information.

Mission

To guarantee orderly, up-to-date, and reliable accounting management, ensuring the correct recording of operations, the control of collections and payments, and compliance with the SII system, while also contributing to the accounting closing processes.

What you'll do

Main duties:

Financial accounting:

• Recording and accounting of accounting operations.

• Customer and supplier invoicing.

• Bank reconciliations and account control.

• Management of remittances, commercial effects, and maturities.

• Reclassifications and accounting adjustments.

Collections management (key area):

• Daily monitoring of collections.

• Control of unpaid items and returned receipts.

• Debt analysis and report preparation.

• Coordination with the sales team for claims.

Payments management:

• Preparation and execution of payments.

• Monitoring of maturities.

• Supplier relations and incident management.

SII (Immediate Supply of Information):

• Review and validation of invoices.

• Monitoring of filings and resolution of incidents.

Accounting closing:

• Participation in monthly and annual closings.

• Account reconciliation and information adjustment.

This is an operational and execution-based position, not a strategic one, with a high workload of daily monitoring and control. We are looking for a profile that feels comfortable in this type of environment.
