Operations Team Leader

General description
The Lear production plant in Valls is starting a recruitment process for multiple job openings as Team Leader of Operations.
You will monitor the productivity of the electronic module manufacturing lines, leading a team of up to about 30 operators and ensuring the plant's objectives are met in areas such as product quality and compliance with safety regulations.

Operational responsibilities
- Under the final responsibility of the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following functions (and will substitute for the Operations Supervisor in their absence):

- Responsible for leading and managing your work cell to achieve the productivity objectives of the lines under your charge.
- Ensure line scheduling is followed.
- Coordinate the staff assigned to the lines, making initial adjustments based on different variables.
- Determine and agree on specific actions with the Team Leaders of other cells when necessary.
- Monitor and report on possible absenteeism in your work cell.
- Together with the Operations Supervisor, propose improvements on the lines that could have a positive impact on results in quality, productivity, training, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with procedures and the company's code of rules.
- Report daily on operational incidents occurring on the lines under your responsibility.
- Carry out communication/information tasks with the staff in your cell.
- Perform substitution tasks in an equivalent position when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with the audit plan and action plans affecting your position.

Job requirements
Experience leading work cells, preferably in manufacturing lines.
Dynamic person, open to new opportunities, with a strong ability to adapt and a results-oriented mindset.
Communication and personnel management skills.
Knowledge of electronic module manufacturing processes will be valued (SMT lines)
