What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with real experience in corporate Landing Zones in hybrid and multicloud environments, with mastery of Terraform and the ability to propose improvements, not just maintain what already exists.

At least 5 years of experience in IT
Minimum 2 years of experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Enterprise Landing Zone infrastructure in hybrid cloud (on-premise and public cloud), multi-account, and multicloud environments
Advanced knowledge of Terraform
Current certifications in Google Cloud Platform at the architecture, infrastructure, DevSecOps, or security level (practitioner/foundational level certifications or lower will not be valued)
Minimum qualification of a University Master's degree in Information and Communication Technologies, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Exceptionally, applications with a Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields to ICT or Computing will be accepted, provided that merits and experience support the exception

The role

At CONVOTIS Iberia, we are looking to hire a Cloud Engineer with experience in Google Cloud Platform for a project with a public administration. You will be responsible for supporting the already deployed Landing Zone and providing technical expertise to new projects built upon it.

What you'll do

Provide support for the currently deployed cloud infrastructure (Landing Zone)
Review the architectures of new projects to detect possible problems and offer alternatives more suitable to the use case
Propose improvements to the deployed Landing Zone and to the current automation processes via IaC

How you'll work

40% on-site presence at the client's offices (duly justified exceptions will be valued)
