Project Manager / ERP Project Manager

• The Manager: You bring at least 3 years of experience managing B2B technology projects (software implementations, other ERPs such as SAP, Navision, Sage, CRMs, or custom developments).

• Business Mindset: You understand how a company works from the inside. You are not afraid to talk about billing flows, stock control, or commercial profitability.

• Problem-Solving and Assertiveness: You have excellent communication skills. You know how to say "no" gracefully to a client when a request falls outside the scope, proposing viable alternatives.

• Learning ability: You have insatiable curiosity and total willingness to immerse yourself in the Odoo ecosystem during your first months.

• Valuable: Certifications in project management methodologies (PMP, Scrum Master, Prince2) or a degree in Business Administration/Engineering or similar.

It will be necessary to have...

• Lifecycle leadership: Direct implementation projects from the initial meeting (kick-off) through to launch (go-live) and stabilization.
• Expectation and client management: Act as the primary (and trusted) interlocutor for the client's executives and managers. Negotiate, communicate progress, and manage critical project moments.
• Scope and profitability control: Rigorously monitor the budget (incurred hours vs. estimated), deadlines, and prevent "scope creep" (scope creep).
• Internal team coordination: Plan sprints and tasks, working hand in hand with our functional consultants and development team to remove blockers and ensure deliveries.
• Business Consulting: Gain a deep understanding of the client's business processes (sales, purchasing, accounting, logistics) to ensure the implementation truly solves their problems.

• Scope and profitability control: Ability to calculate and monitor budgeted hours versus incurred hours, detect margin deviations and curb scope corruption (scope creep).
• Delivery methodologies: Practical understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional ones (Gantt, waterfall) applied to B2B software implementation.
• Risk and milestone management: Planning of critical deliverables, early detection of bottlenecks and design of contingency plans for deadlines, especially during cut-over and go-live phases (go-live).

• Commercial cycle and purchasing: Understanding of order circuits, delivery notes, goods receipts, price lists and purchase/sales terms.
• Logistics and warehouses: Knowledge of inventory flow, basic traceability (batches/serial numbers) and stock valuation.
• Accounting and invoicing fundamentals: Understanding of the customer/supplier invoice flow, collections, payments, bank reconciliation and the operational impact on the balance sheet/income statement.
• Advanced processes (desirable): Knowledge of bills of materials (BOM) and production orders for industry, or time-tracking management for service companies.

• Project and task management software: Operational command of tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday, ClickUp or Trello.
• Previous exposure to management software: Experience using, configuring, or interacting with any prior ERP/CRM (SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central, Sage, Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, etc.).
• Advanced spreadsheets: Solid command of Excel or Google Sheets for modeling data, auditing volumes, and analyzing project profitability.

• Stakeholder management: Ease in communicating and negotiating with executive profiles (CEOs, CFOs, Operations Directors).

• Requirements gathering and documentation: Ability to translate operational needs and client pain points into clear functional specifications for the technical team.

• Change management: Skill in guiding key users (key users) through system adoption, mitigating the usual resistance to software change.

• Formal certifications in project management: PMP, CAPM, Prince2, or Scrum Master (PSM I / CSM).
