Senior ERP Project Manager for Implementation

Direct the ERP implementation within set timeframes, until it is stable and in real use across all areas of the company. You will be responsible for coordination with the provider, the IT team, and the business areas with a single plan, weekly milestones, and clear owners.

• Redo the project plan by phases, with priorities by product line, weekly milestones, and acceptance criteria.
• Agree with operations, sales, and finance on the dedication of key personnel and break down each block into concrete tasks week by week.
• Control the provider's hours and deliveries, validate estimates, and demand compliance with what was contracted.
• Lead an implementation team of two internal people and 2 junior engineers in the gathering of data and processes at the plant, and ensure their validation by operations and their correct upload into the ERP, and coordinate and drive the involvement of key users and managers responsible for each area.
• Implement a formal testing and acceptance cycle.
• Plan training with the provider and verify that users are actually working in the system.
• Maintain control of the consumed and forecasted budget and anticipate deviations.
• Report daily to the CIO and weekly to management regarding progress, risks, and pending decisions.

• Senior experience as a project manager in complete ERP implementations, from start to finish, in an industrial company is essential.
• Having successfully steered at least 1 project that was delayed or over budget.
• Industrial experience and deep knowledge of manufacturing processes: orders, bills of materials, routings, planning, purchasing, warehouse, and costs.
• Experience managing software providers with hourly contracts.
• Own working method with milestone planning, risk management, and testing and acceptance cycles.
• Leadership capacity without hierarchical authority.
