Junior Lawyer

• Valuable previous experience in legal advisory, preferably in financial markets, capital markets, or a specialized firm.

• Degree in Law (essential).
• Valuable additional training in Financial Law, Securities Markets, Banking Regulation, Business Administration and Management, Economics, or Finance.

• High English level, both spoken and written (essential).
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Maternity replacement contract with immediate start.
• Expected duration until 15/01/2027, with the possibility of continuity for subsequent holiday coverage.
• Salary: €1,997 gross/month
• Work center: Boadilla del Monte (Madrid).
• Flexible schedule: entry between 8:00 and 9:00, with 8 effective working hours per day.

Junior Lawyer (M/F/X)

Would you like to develop your career in the legal-financial field within an international and highly specialized environment? We are looking for a Junior Lawyer to join the Markets legal team, where they will have the opportunity to participate in the legal advisory of complex financial operations and acquire solid specialization in capital markets and derivative products.

Reporting to the legal team, your main responsibilities will be:

• Supporting legal advisory related to financial derivative operations, both structured and non-structured, on different underlying assets (interest rates, currencies, and equities).
• Collaborating in the management and resolution of legal inquiries linked to Markets activity.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and preparing legal documentation related to financial derivatives and structured deposits.
• Providing support in other legal matters that require the intervention of the Legal area within the Markets business.
• Analyzing regulations and contractual documentation, preparing clear and precise legal summaries and reports.

• Ability to analyze legal documentation, synthesize information, and draft reports and legal documentation rigorously.
• Valuable knowledge of financial products and markets, including derivatives, repos, securities lending, and master agreements.
• Teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Interest in developing oneself in an international and specialized environment.
