Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Law or Law and Business Administration
Master's degree for access to the legal profession (a master's or specialization in commercial law is valued)
Minimum experience: 1 - 3 years
Demonstrable additional training in commercial operations and international contracting is valued
Languages: Catalan and Spanish: high; English: high, spoken and written
Office automation: Advanced level of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
At a corporate level: Ensure compliance with the security protocols defined in the ISMS, guaranteeing regulatory compliance regarding data protection, confidentiality, and information security, communicating any security incident, and using information systems in accordance with the usage policy.

The role

Reporting directly to the person responsible for the Innovation Area, your main responsibility will be to support the Innovation team in specialized commercial advisory for technology companies (e-commerce, medtech, biotech, among other sectors). The candidate will support the team in commercial and corporate matters by providing advisory services to technology companies regarding commercial contracting, Venture Capital rounds, and M&A operations.

What you'll do

Advisory to technology companies and start-ups on commercial contracting matters, providing recurring legal advice in the day-to-day of their operations.
Support in carrying out Board of Directors secretarial duties for the various companies.
Negotiation and execution of investment operations with venture capital entities, business angels, crowdfunding, and private investors.
Negotiation and execution of M&A operations (sale of companies, mergers, and spin-offs, among others) with both national and international clients.
Advisory in the preparation and negotiation of research and development and technology transfer contracts.
Advisory on institutional and corporate matters for research centers, universities, and technology companies (corporate law, law of associations and foundations, administrative law).
Study and development of knowledge in new fields within the technology and research sectors.
