Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar Engineering.
Previous experience in industrial environments and production process improvement.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and industrial data analysis.
Experience working with efficiency and productivity indicators (OEE, yield, quality, costs).
Analytical capacity, results orientation, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Skills to work in multidisciplinary teams and lead cross-functional projects.

Nice to have

Complementary training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Industry 4.0, or Project Management (PMP or similar).
Knowledge of industrial automation, PLC, SCADA, MES, IoT, or industrial digitalization.
Experience in the implementation of technological improvements and automation of production processes.

The role

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join a leading industrial company in candle manufacturing, where you will play a key role in improving production efficiency and transforming plant processes.

Optimize production processes and improve the plant's industrial efficiency through the analysis of manufacturing methods, workflows, and production line performance. You will be a key figure in driving productivity, reducing costs and waste, improving quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in collaboration with the Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams.

What you'll do

Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Improve production times, format changes, and working methods.
Increase the yield and production capacity of manufacturing lines and equipment.
Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Apply Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Analyze industrial indicators (OEE, productivity, yield, quality, and waste) for data-driven decision-making.
Participate in the implementation and commissioning of improvements in machinery, equipment, and automation.
Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Planning to ensure the sustainability of the implemented improvements.
Lead optimization projects from initial diagnosis to implementation and monitoring of results.
