Requirements

What we're looking for

Experience with Flutter (essential).
Knowledge of Android development.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
Proactive attitude, motivation, and resilience.
English level sufficient for reading technical documentation.
Availability for 100% on-site work.
Essential: own vehicle and availability to work from the office.

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of Node.js (APIs or scripts).
Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL.
Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ or others).
Knowledge of hexagonal architecture, TDD, or DDD.
Experience with Docker or cloud environments (AWS).
Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins or others).
Use of Git and collaborative work in repositories.

Education & certifications

Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent technical training (a university degree in engineering is not essential).
Higher Degree in Multiplatform Application Development (DAM).

The role

At Paul Marques, we are looking to hire a Backend & Mobile Developer with a special focus on Flutter, with knowledge of Android development, to join a growing technical team.

What you'll do

Development and maintenance of APIs and backend services.
Development of mobile applications with Flutter and Android.
Participation in code reviews and application of best practices.
Implementation of basic tests to ensure code quality.
Support for technical documentation.
Collaboration in an agile team environment.

How you'll work

Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:30
- Friday: until 15:00
Summer: intensive working day (08:00 - 15:00)
Possibility of hybrid/remote work after 6 months, depending on performance.
Permanent contract with stability and internal development.

Desired profile

Profile: junior (1-2 years of experience).
Highly motivated person, proactive, with a capacity for learning.
Ability to adapt to demanding and dynamic environments.
Results-oriented from day one.
