The role

From Paul Marlex we are looking for a Site Manager to join the Production department of an established company in the construction sector.

The selected person will be responsible for managing the complete execution of the assigned project, coordinating teams, contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with the economic, schedule, quality and safety objectives established by the company.

What you'll do

Manage and supervise the execution of the project, ensuring compliance with the drawings and the executive project, quality standards and current regulations, with the aim of optimizing resources, guaranteeing client satisfaction and achieving a positive economic result.

Review the measurements and the project budget, identifying possible errors, deviations and opportunities for margin improvement.
Analyze the project from an economic and scheduling perspective and define the execution strategy.
Request and compare quotes from contractors and subcontractors, negotiating the best conditions.
Hire and coordinate contractors and subcontractors, monitoring their work.
Control the actual costs of the project and carry out monthly economic monitoring, detecting and correcting possible deviations.
Prepare invoices, certificates, monthly production reports and documentation required for billing.
Check delivery notes, costs and work performed by contractors and suppliers.
Prepare and manage disputed prices and alternative construction proposals.
Supervise the execution of the project in coordination with the Project Management, Site Management and the Client.
Review the site reports and monitor project modifications.
Monitor and update the schedule, ensuring compliance with established deadlines.
Coordinate the site teams, assigning responsibilities and supervising duties.
Lead, motivate and develop the work team.
Coordinate and supervise the relationship with contractors and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, occupational risk prevention and environmental standards.
Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project execution.
Identify potential risks and deviations and propose corrective and improvement measures.

What do we expect from you?

University degree in Technical Architecture, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining Technical Engineering, Public Works or similar technical qualification.
3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions as a Site Manager.
More than 5 years of experience in the construction sector, especially in industrial and healthcare projects.
Knowledge of Office, AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, TCQ, Presto, Project, Navision and Pyco.
Knowledge of Occupational Risk Prevention and regulations applicable to the site.
Ability to interpret drawings, measurements, budgets and technical documentation.
Experience in economic management and project scheduling.
Negotiation and management skills with contractors and subcontractors.
Catalan and Spanish.
Organized, decisive, and results-oriented profile.
Leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
Committed, responsible person with decision-making skills.
