At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a leading industrial group in their search for a Head of People and Development to join their HR team.

The selected candidate will be the HR reference at the site, acting as a point of contact for employees and as a liaison between Production, Health & Safety, and the HR Department.

What you'll do

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTake part in recruitment processes, conducting interviews and selection tests.Liaise with employment agencies, training centers, and other recruitment sources.Manage the onboarding and integration of new employees.Monitor the probationary period and support new hires during their adaptation to the role.Maintain regular contact with production supervisors to monitor team performance.Identify training needs and propose professional development actions.Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding queries, concerns, and HR-related issues.Provide guidance to employees on matters related to payroll, working hours, leave, and internal procedures.Monitor absenteeism and manage situations involving temporary disability.Coordinate return-to-work processes and, when necessary, workplace adaptations.Ensure compliance with internal rules and labor obligations.Participate in managing disciplinary cases and propose corrective measures.Support performance evaluation and appraisal processes.Participate in conflict resolution and actions aimed at improving the workplace climate.Manage internal communication and relay corporate messages to the teams.Oversee time recording, clock-ins, leave, vacations, and working hours, coordinating with the labor department.Participate in monitoring Health and Safety Committees and coordinate with Occupational Risk Prevention.REQUIREMENTSA university degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.Previous experience in Human Resources, including recruitment, people management, and labor relations.Experience in industrial environments or with operational teams.Experience in generalist HR roles with direct contact with employees.Knowledge of absenteeism management, time control, and onboarding processes.Ability to work closely with Production and middle management.Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.A approachable, proactive, results-oriented, and people-focused profile.
