HSE Manager

What profile are we looking for?

• University degree and a Master's in Occupational Risk Prevention with all three specialties.
• Professional experience exceeding 15 years in Health and Safety.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in leadership, management, or direction positions of HSE teams.
• International experience of between 5 and 8 years, participating in large-scale projects.
• High level of English (C1 or equivalent), essential to operate in international environments and participate in meetings and communication processes with global clients.
• Capacity for leadership, influence, stakeholder management, and decision-making in complex and multicultural environments.

• Experience in the following will be especially valued:
• Data Centers, preferably in projects linked to Microsoft.
• High-demand sectors in terms of safety such as petrochemical, oil & gas, energy, or offshore.

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a leading company in the development and execution of high-complexity construction projects internationally, which is looking to incorporate an HSE Manager for a strategic project in Zaragoza.

What will your mission be in the company?

Reporting to the Project Management and the corporate Health and Safety area, you will be responsible for leading the project's HSE strategy, guaranteeing the highest standards of safety, health, and regulatory compliance, as well as the implementation of a preventive culture in an international and highly demanding environment.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Lead the Health and Safety strategy of the project, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, client standards, and applicable regulations.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary HSE teams, promoting a safety culture based on visible leadership and continuous improvement.
• Supervise and coordinate the preventive activities of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers involved in the project.
• Implement and monitor HSE performance indicators (KPIs), defining action plans and corrective measures when necessary.
• Actively participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations, guaranteeing the adoption of preventive and corrective actions.
• Act as the main interlocutor regarding Health and Safety before the client, project management, and external organizations.
• Guarantee compliance with international safety standards, especially in critical construction environments and high technical complexity projects.
• Develop training, awareness, and safety leadership programs, fostering commitment at all levels of the organization.
