Production Manager

• Academic Training: University degree in Industrial Engineering or similar studies. Other technical training linked to the industrial field will be valued.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in positions related to production and team management, preferably in industrial environments with shift-based production processes.
• Team management: Experience leading teams and middle management, with the capacity to set objectives, perform monitoring, and develop people.
• Knowledge: Experience in managing production, productivity, quality, cost, and continuous improvement indicators. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement tools will be valued.

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a major industrial company that needs to incorporate a Production Manager into its team to lead the plant's production activity, ensuring the fulfillment of production, quality, safety, productivity, and team development objectives.

Under the supervision of and reporting to the Site Manager, your main mission will be to lead and coordinate the plant's production operations, ensuring the correct execution of the production plan, the optimization of resources, and the development of teams:

• Production leadership: Direct and coordinate the plant's production activity, ensuring compliance with production plans and established objectives.
• Team management: Lead shift supervisors and production middle management, establishing clear objectives and promoting a leadership style based on collaboration, responsibility, and people development.
• Resource organization: Ensure the availability and correct organization of the human and material resources necessary to guarantee production continuity and efficiency.
• KPI monitoring: Perform monitoring of the main production, productivity, quality, cost, safety, and service indicators, identifying deviations and defining corrective actions.
• Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing productivity, optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Planning and production: Coordinate with Planning to guarantee the correct sequencing and execution of manufacturing orders, managing possible capacity deviations.
• Coordination with Maintenance: Work jointly with Maintenance to guarantee facility availability, resolve breakdowns, and coordinate preventive maintenance plans.
• Quality and safety: Guarantee compliance with quality standards, safety, and applicable regulations, promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence in the plant.
• People management: Participate in the evaluation and development of teams, detect training needs, promote multi-skilling, and contribute to the creation of autonomous and cohesive teams.
• Incident management: Make decisions regarding production incidents and coordinate with the different involved areas to guarantee a rapid and effective resolution.
• Interdepartmental coordination: Maintain constant communication with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Purchasing, HR, and the rest of the areas involved in the production process.
• Plant leadership: Act as the operational reference for the plant, guaranteeing the correct alignment of teams and the achievement of established objectives.
