At Marlex, we are collaborating with a major industrial company dedicated to the processing and transformation of raw materials for the construction and industry sectors across Europe, which is currently looking to hire an Electrical Maintenance Technician for its facility in the El Vendrell area.

What you'll do

  • Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and electrical installations, ensuring optimal operation.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, minimizing downtime.
  • Coordinating maintenance activities with the production team to ensure the plant's operational continuity.
  • Performing regular safety inspections on equipment and installations.
  • Managing the inventory of spare parts and tools required for the proper execution of activities.
  • Recording and documenting completed interventions using maintenance management systems (CMMS/ERP).
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing equipment and production process performance.
  • Collaborating in the training of operational staff on maintenance and safety matters.
  • Staying up to date with new technologies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.

How you'll work

What do we need from you?

  • Holding a Higher Level Vocational Training qualification in Automation and Industrial Robotics, Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Electromechanics, or a related field.
  • Having at least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance roles, particularly in the electrical field.
  • Knowledge of industrial robotics (ABB, KUKA) and process automation.
  • Proficiency in IT tools and maintenance software (Office, CAD, ELCAD, and CMMS).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve technical issues.
  • A responsible, organized individual focused on continuous improvement and committed to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate actions with different departments.
