The role

The selected person will be responsible for carrying out auxiliary tasks within the slaughterhouse to guarantee the correct development of the butchering process, following at all times the hygiene, safety, and animal welfare standards established by current regulations.

What you'll do

Hanging carcasses, moving pieces, and collecting by-products derived from the production process.
Providing support to specialized operators in the movement of carcasses and in the separation of different parts.
Assisting in the collection of viscera and waste, respecting the established circuits.
Maintaining the correct separation between clean and dirty zones and following the line's traceability procedures.
Correctly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following the instructions of the supervisor.
Complying at all times with hygiene, food safety, and animal welfare standards, especially when participating in previous phases of the process.

Requirements:

Driving license and own vehicle to travel to the workplace (valuable)
Previous experience in slaughterhouses, the meat industry, or food production environments is valuable.
Ability to perform physical tasks and work in a production environment.
Commitment to hygiene, safety, and occupational risk prevention standards.
Ability to work in a team and follow the instructions of the line managers.
Knowledge of butchering processes and carcass handling is valuable.
