Requirements

You have training related to electrical-mechanical maintenance.
You have knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, and electronics.

The role

At Marlex, we are collaborating with a major company dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of cellulose products for clients across various sectors worldwide, which currently needs to add to its team an Electromechanical Technician for its facility located in the Alt Penedès area.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and industrial equipment, in both the electrical and mechanical areas.
Planning and executing routine maintenance tasks to prevent issues.
Detecting, analyzing, and resolving breakdowns that may arise, implementing effective solutions to ensure continuous production operation, minimizing downtime, and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Managing the commissioning, assembly, and installation of new machinery when necessary, complying with technical specifications and current regulations.
Carrying out necessary adjustments and recalibrations on machinery to optimize its performance.
Performing precise diagnostics, adjusting parameters, and replacing necessary components to maintain the efficiency and quality of production processes.
