Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in hotels or catering establishments.
Training in food handling and allergens.

Flexible schedule (morning or afternoon shifts with split shifts).
Availability to work on weekends (rotating days off).

The role

The Sol Jandia Hotel by Meliá - Fuerteventura needs to hire a Barista.

Responsible for preparing, making, and presenting beverages and coffee shop products assigned to your area, ensuring efficient and quality service. All while complying with the standards established by the company and paying special attention to presentation, customer service, and proper handling of products, with the aim of guaranteeing guest and customer satisfaction and fostering their loyalty.

What you'll do

Preparation of basic breakfast foods (cutting fruit, cheeses, cold cuts, pastries).
Prepare simple dishes: omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, vegetables.
Set up and replenish the hot and cold buffet stations.
Continuously replenish the buffet to guarantee availability and good presentation.
Prepare simple hot dishes on demand or in advance.
