Financial Controller with advanced English

We are looking for a Financial Controller with advanced English (essential) for an industrial group with a good team and human growth, based in the Vigo metropolitan area. Experience in the industrial sector in roles such as controller, finance and administration manager in an SME, or coming from a Big4 firm will be highly valued.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of financial and management information, coordinating economic planning processes as well as tax preparation, with the following main responsibilities:

• Overseeing the monthly and annual accounting close, and preparing the monthly financial reporting in coordination with the CFO.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes in coordination with the CFO and external advisors.
• Preparing the annual budget in coordination with the CFO and monitoring it monthly.
• Controlling and analyzing industrial costs and profitability by product or business line.
• Analyzing variances against budget and proposing corrective actions.
• Providing financial support to operations and production.
• Participating in projects to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with Group policies.

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
Around 4 or more years of experience in financial controlling, auditing, and/or management control, as well as accounting and global finance functions, such as finance and administration manager in an industrial SME, controller in an industrial company, or coming from a Big4 firm.
Advanced English, ideally C1 level; knowledge of other languages is valued.
Experience in industrial environments and reporting (KPIs, dashboards), cost control, margin analysis, and budgeting, as well as preparing monthly and annual financial closings.
Solid knowledge of financial and management accounting and budget control.
User-level knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP or SAP Business One.
Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis tools.
Proactive and dynamic profile, with a strong willingness to contribute.
High analytical capacity and attention to detail, able to transform financial data into information for decision-making.
Business acumen and understanding of industrial processes.
Planning and prioritization skills.
Effective communication with financial and operational teams, as well as the ability to integrate and work as part of a team.
Availability to work on-site in the Vigo area (own vehicle required).
Split shift, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility in start and end times; the company facilities include a cafeteria.
