What you'll get

Permanent full-time contract.
Gross annual salary: 30,000-36,000 € depending on the candidate's merit.
Collective Agreement for the Offices and Studios Sector.
Flexible schedule: Monday to Thursday with arrival from 07:00 to 09:00 and departure from 16:30 to 18:30 (with 1 hour for lunch), and Friday arrival from 8:00 to 8:30 and departure from 14:00 to 14:30.
Teleworking: 1 day per week.

The role

Spanish engineering firm specializing in the design, manufacture, and installation of water treatment systems and process equipment, mainly for the pharma, biotech, cosmetics, or food industries, wishes to hire a Process Design Drafter for its offices located Northeast of Madrid.

What you'll do

Preparation of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
3D design and modeling of piping and industrial equipment.
Preparation and updating of drawings for piping, isometrics, and equipment with revision control (version traceability, updates).
Sketching and site surveys at the client's premises for subsequent design.
Generation of bills of materials for manufacturing and assembly.
Ensure that designs comply with pharmaceutical regulations.
Teamwork and coordination with other departments (Engineering, Documentation, and Automation).

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Academic background: Higher Degree or similar.
Experience: at least 3 years as a piping designer in Plant 3D or in a similar position.
Driver's license and own vehicle for access to the workplace.
Required knowledge:
- Advanced level proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks.
- Revit and Inventor are valued.
- Ability to read and interpret process diagrams (P&ID).
- Knowledge of the symbology used in valves and instrumentation.
- Knowledge for the creation of equipment manufacturing drawings, mechanical piping drawings, and isometric drawings.
- Knowledge of water treatment systems and pharmaceutical and cosmetic processes is valued.
- Knowledge of stainless steel manufacturing, welding types, and connection standards is valued.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations (GMP) is valued.
