The role

Supply Chain Director / Purchasing Manager with experience in the industrial sector to lead the Supply Chain department. We are looking for a professional with skills to manage and optimize purchasing and supply processes.

What you'll do

Ensure compliance with company regulations, policies, and quality standards.
Ensure optimal availability of materials and products, maintaining adequate safety stock levels with suppliers, monitoring delivery indicators (OTD), and driving preventive and corrective actions to ensure production continuity.
Lead and develop the supply network, managing supplier performance and quality through periodic evaluations, audits, improvement plans, and development actions, ensuring reliable, efficient supply aligned with organizational standards.
Define and implement the purchasing and procurement strategy, in line with business objectives.
Lead, motivate, and develop the team under their responsibility, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Negotiate with strategic suppliers to optimize costs, commercial terms, service levels, and supply lead times.
Analyze markets and trends to identify improvement opportunities, supplier diversification, and risk mitigation in the supply chain.
Drive the optimization of purchasing, procurement, and logistics processes, promoting operational efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Finance areas to ensure corporate objectives are met.
Prepare, manage, and control the area budget, ensuring proper cost planning and monitoring.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Industrial Organization, or similar). Valued, but not mandatory.
Solid technical foundation to understand production processes, industrial operations, and the supply chain.
Experience in industry. Understanding of product and manufacturing processes.
Leadership skills, experience in managing work teams.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Fluent English (spoken and written).
Experience in companies using SAP as ERP.
Person accustomed to working in volatile and complex environments.
Orientation towards Procurement and Purchasing.
