Requirements
What we're looking for
- Experience coordinating different stakeholders
- Experience automating processes
At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, commercial controlling, project finance, or business partnering, with mastery of budgets, forecasts, and financial modeling.
- Essential experience dealing with different stakeholders and in process automation and improvement.
- Advanced Excel and the ability to build robust models from incomplete information; the capacity to translate numbers into commercial decisions.
- Intermediate/high English.
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or similar.
It is fundamental to have a lot of tact. The position will work with promoters, bookers, programming, ticketing, production, backoffice, and finance from different companies. We need a curious person, with analytical credibility and commercial sensitivity, capable of questioning an assumption without damaging the relationship. You must listen, build trust, persuade, and achieve practical progress in a context where not everything is defined.
Nice to have
- Valuable experience in live music, touring, concerts, ticketing, events, or other project-based businesses; coming from the industry is not essential.
- Valuable experience integrating businesses, creating functions, or implementing new planning models with multiple stakeholders.
Pay & benefits
What you'll get
- Very dynamic international environment.
- Company in full growth and expansion.
- Sector: entertainment.
- Offices: Chamberí (remote work).
The role
International live entertainment group is looking for a person to create the FP&A function from scratch (within a new line of business). You will be the financial partner to commercial and operational managers: you will build visibility on profitability, sales, and cash, help drive decision-making, and contribute to integrating ways of working across teams.
What you'll do
- Build the economic planning and monitoring model for the new line of business, from the P&L by show and tour to the consolidated portfolio forecast.
- Support the economic analysis and approval of opportunities: artist fees and guarantees, escalations and variables, venues, capacities, sales capacity, pricing, production costs, marketing, and demand scenarios.
- Monitor sales and ticketing curves against the plan, detect risks, and propose concrete actions alongside commercial and ticketing managers.
- Prepare budgets, reforecasts, and variance analyses by show, tour, promoter, and company; separate the effects of volume, pricing, mix, costs, and calendar.
- Provide visibility on advances, commitments, revenue and payment schedules, financing needs, and cash exposure; coordinate with Cash Flow and Finance Operations, without assuming the execution of payments.
- Reconcile the actual results of events with forecasts, using settlements and information from Booking Administration/Backoffice, Production, and Accounting; identify learnings for future deals.
- Work with bookers and promoters, who are responsible for the P&L of their shows: Finance provides models, discipline, comparability, and alerts, without replacing commercial ownership or creating a bottleneck.
- Help integrate data, definitions, calendars, and tools between OpCos and teams; develop simple and useful reporting, avoiding bureaucracy and recurring manual reconciliations.
- Prepare clear analyses for Touring leadership, FP&A Iberia, and Group Finance, highlighting opportunities, risks, and pending decisions.
