About the role

From Michael Page, we are seeking a professional with a solid background in international purchasing and sourcing of APIs and finished products in the pharmaceutical industry, to join the CINFA group in a newly created position to lead the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of finished products and APIs globally.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Purchasing/International Business Director, you will be responsible for leading the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of finished products and APIs globally, ensuring a competitive portfolio in both B2C and B2B.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Define and drive the international sourcing strategy for finished products (B2C) and APIs (B2B).
  • Identify development opportunities by monitoring the Orange Book and pipelines (clinical phases II and III).
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with international manufacturers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
  • Lead complex negotiations and the closing of agreements with global suppliers.
  • Participate in international trade fairs and supplier visits.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Regulatory, R&D, Business Development, etc.).
  • Ensure market anticipation and early access to generic opportunities.
