About the role

This is a hybrid Data Architect / Data Lead role that combines strategic responsibility for data architecture with hands-on involvement in technical design, audits, and integrations. You will lead key initiatives, oversee data quality and architecture, and act as the main point of contact between internal teams and external partners.

Education and Knowledge

University degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.

Postgraduate education in Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Data Management will be highly valued.

  • Proficiency in Azure (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, or equivalents). Certifications in Azure (AZ-900, DP-203, or equivalents) will be a differentiating plus.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and at least one data-oriented programming language (Python preferred).
  • Knowledge of modern data architectures: medallion architecture, data mesh, data lakehouse.
  • Ability to audit code, pipelines, and third-party integrations with sound judgment.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Marketing Cloud, Data 360) as the data consumption layer.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or similar roles.
