The candidate will be responsible for:
- Defining, coordinating and optimizing the company's purchasing strategy, ensuring the availability of materials, reagents, equipment and services necessary to ensure operational continuity, economic efficiency and quality standards in our diagnostic activity.
- Defining and implementing Health Diagnostics' purchasing and supply strategy nationwide.
- Managing negotiation and approval processes with strategic suppliers of medical materials, reagents, technical equipment and associated services.
- Analyzing costs, consumption and optimization opportunities, proposing improvements focused on efficiency and sustainability.
- Coordinating purchasing planning together with operations, logistics and laboratory departments.
- Ensuring compliance with service level agreements, quality standards and supply deadlines.
- Leading tenders, bids and supplier evaluation processes.
- Monitoring purchasing KPIs, stock levels and supplier performance, preparing reports and action plans.
- Collaborating with corporate and business areas to ensure alignment with the company's strategy.
- Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in purchasing processes and tools.
- Reporting to the Purchasing Director.
The candidate:
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Health Sciences or similar.
- At least 5 years of previous experience in purchasing positions, preferably in a healthcare, laboratory, healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience in supplier negotiation and strategic category management.
- Analytical skills and results orientation.
- Communication, leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with purchasing ERP systems.
- Advanced English level is a plus.
- Offices located in the North of Madrid.
- 100% on-site, no remote work.
