About the role

We are looking for a Technical Manager to lead the group's projects at its plants in Spain, covering both its technological strategy, machinery, improvement projects, and general industrial development.

What you'll do

Reporting to the group's management, the selected candidate will drive the group's technical, industrial, and technological development projects, taking part in them at the various plants, and setting the strategy, technical definition, and execution. To this end, their main duties will be:

  • Coordinate and execute the technological strategy with each project's development team, using management software and support machinery to establish the essential development procedures for project execution.
  • Manage all of the group's works and projects, both at plant level and regarding energy and facilities, relying on the technical team at each plant.

  • Install new machinery at the production level, using the management program and support machinery to implement and meet production improvement needs.

  • Define and handle internal and external audits to prepare the teams for possible audits and provide support when needed.
  • Analyze contracts at the Group level (energy and gas consumption, machines, and equipment maintenance) and supervise plant maintenance contracts.
  • Evaluate the performance of the maintenance departments at the various plants to propose improvements or corrective actions to Industrial Management.
  • Supervise and analyze improvements in automation and plant technologies, as well as conduct an analysis to determine the impact of the improvements and ensure their implementation.
  • Project management in collaboration with other departments.
