We are looking for a metallurgist with experience in the industrial and manufacturing sector to join a technical team in constant development. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising and optimizing metallurgical processes in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Reviewing incoming quality control records and monitoring raw material qualification.
- Controlling charge mix, charge sequence, and other process parameters. Reviewing calculation tables periodically and proposing improvements.
- Analyzing compatibilities and reviewing production plans.
- Supporting and reporting feasibility analyses of technical data sheets.
- Supporting root cause analysis processes for major internal defects, process issues, and critical complaints.
- Conducting systemic process audits with records and reporting the number of incidents. Controlling temperatures and process parameters.
- Performing and validating thermal analyses in production (required training and definition of sampling methodology).
- Performing ultrasonic inspection of machined bars (rough material if applicable).
- Analyzing and reporting technical parameters and process/product records of claimed materials.
