Requirements

What we're looking for

Vocational Training (FPII)/Higher Degree or University Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Innovation and Processes, or similar.
At least 1 year of experience in similar positions as a Quality Technician in industrial companies within the food sector.
Previous experience in a food microbiology laboratory is essential (preparation of culture media, dilutions and reagents, processing of food, water, and surface samples, sampling at the plant, and performing and recording microbiological readings).
Personal competencies: Result orientation, adaptability to change, communication skills, and teamwork.

The role

We need to incorporate a Quality Technician for our La Niña del Sur production plant in Murcia.

The mission of the position is to ensure the conformity of final products, in compliance with the quality criteria defined in the product specifications.

What you'll do

The main functions of the position are:

Supervise the control and quality of finished products at the plant.
Control manufacturing tests and new developments.
Execute the SAP transactions corresponding to: Product releases and blocks, label cancellations, etc.
Document Quality Management at the plant.
Perform plant audits in order to verify compliance with hygienic standards and worker health regulations.
Participate in the training of new factory operators regarding aspects related to product quality.
