Quality Technician Torrijos

• Carry out and/or coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Management System in the areas/plants under their responsibility, managing the indicators, objectives, non-conformities and corresponding corrective and preventive actions.

• Manage the Inspection Plans / HACCP / PRP of the areas/plants under their responsibility, as well as their document management.

• Ensure that the plant and area under their responsibility complies with all legal requirements and the Food Safety protocols for which the plant is certified: IFS, ENVIRONMENT, SAE, IBERIAN, CONSORTIUM, ETG...

• Plan and/or carry out the corresponding internal/external audits.

• Evaluate and/or approve subcontractors/suppliers of products/services

• Prepare periodic reports on the evolution of the quality and environmental system, and improvement proposals and production processes (yield, costs, deterioration, packaging...) under their responsibility

• Support the Quality Manager in liaising with Corporate, other IOC's, customers and/or official Food Inspection services on matters related to quality, environment and product technology

• Validate and collaborate on the necessary reviews in product formulations, processes and industrial machinery as applicable, in coordination with the involved areas, as well as monitor technological processes, industrial trials and development in the areas under their responsibility.

• Respond to incidents/queries/complaints about products from other IOC's marketed in Spain and vice versa, in coordination with the

corresponding IOC's and the Plant Quality Management.

• Collaborate in employee training on aspects related to hygiene/quality of processes and products

• Centralize and prepare all documentation and customer requests in coordination with the Commercial Department

• Prepare specific technical data sheets for customers, in collaboration with R&D

• Respond to specific complaints from our customers, both nationally and internationally

• Provide assistance with requests coming from the Export Department, always in coordination with the Quality Manager.

Mission:

Coordinate and supervise compliance with the actions related to the quality and environmental system of the areas/plants under their responsibility, with the aim of maintaining the defined quality standards, in accordance with the regulations and policies of the Company, Corporate and, where applicable, other IOC's.

• University degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Veterinary Science or similar

• At least 2 years of experience in processes and quality in the food industry, preferably in the meat sector.

• Experience in implementing and/or maintaining quality management systems (IFS, BRC)

• Knowledge of food legislation.

• Knowledge of environmental management systems (ISO 14001)

• Advanced level of English

• Advanced level of Microsoft Office

• Team management skills, organization, adaptability and leadership
