Assembly Technician Lead

If you are passionate about mechanical solutions and machine assembly, this is the place for you. At Mondragon Assembly you will have the opportunity to join the technical team carrying out the following functions:

• Take responsibility for achieving the project objectives in everything related to pre-assembly, assembly, pneumatic installation, commissioning and electrical installation, together with the electrical installations supervisor.
• Regarding the organizational structure:

- New business division within the company. Versatility across the two/three businesses. With different technologies and processes.

- There is no hierarchy within the assembly team.

• Actively participate as a member of the core team in defining the project solution.
• Lead the achievement of the Project objectives in everything related to pre-assembly, assembly, pneumatic and electrical installation and commissioning.
• Perform the assembly and p. a p. of the assigned workstations, according to the common and specific basic characteristics defined in the General Approach.
• Lead the preparation of the Detailed Assembly and Commissioning Plan in line with the General Plan and coordinated with the core team and the Electrical Installations Supervisor.
• Coordinate the assembly of the mechanical, pneumatic and electrical parts.
• Closely monitor compliance with deadlines, costs and other assembly and commissioning objectives and propose corrective actions in the event of anticipated non-compliance.
• Coordinate the assembly team (in-house and subcontracted). Supervise and take responsibility for the work carried out.
• During acceptance at MA and during final acceptance of the line at the customer's premises, they are the person responsible for maintaining communication with the customer in their language (English proficiency) and obtaining their approval on the mechanical side. Due to the internationalization process, the use of English is increasingly common.

We are looking for someone who is eager and enthusiastic about being part of this project and who also meets the following requirements:

• Higher Module in Mechanics, Mechatronics, and/or Electronics
• At least two years of experience in our solutions or similar ones.
• Experience in assembly.
• Availability to travel
• Languages: good command of English and Basque.
